Does submitting a request book my trip?
No. A website inquiry is only a request for planning or quotation. A booking exists only after the applicable travel arrangements are accepted, any required authorization or payment is provided, and the supplier confirms the reservation.
Does Mikes Vacations operate the airlines or hotels?
No. Mikes Vacations acts as a travel agent/intermediary. Airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators and other suppliers are independent third parties responsible for the travel services they provide.
Are prices shown on the website guaranteed?
We avoid publishing invented package prices. Quotes and availability can change until the supplier confirms the reservation and required payment or authorization is successfully processed.
Can I cancel after booking?
Cancellation rights depend on the specific fare, rate, package and supplier terms attached to your reservation, together with any rights required by applicable law. Some bookings are refundable, partially refundable, credit-only or non-refundable.
Is every airline booking cancellable within 24 hours?
No. Do not assume a general 24-hour free-cancellation benefit applies to every travel-agency booking. Where a supplier, fare or applicable law provides that benefit, it will apply according to its conditions.
Do you sell travel insurance?
Travel insurance availability depends on the trip and provider relationships. We recommend considering appropriate travel insurance and reviewing the policy wording carefully. Coverage and claims are determined by the insurer.
What documents do I need?
Travelers are responsible for passports, visas, entry authorizations, health documentation and other required documents. Requirements change, so official government sources should be checked before travel.
How do I ask for a current deal?
Send your destination, departure city, dates and traveler count through Plan My Trip. We can then check relevant supplier promotions and explain the associated conditions.
